The main aim of the coalition is to speak out for the voiceless youths from the region on various issues affecting the youths such as climate change, poverty, school dropouts, marginalism, inferiority complex, gender-based violence, negligence, nepotism, regionalism and also advocate with their communities, the government and other stakeholders on how they youth can collectively address the issues affecting their well-being.
According to publicity secretary of the coalition, Mr. Yollam Oscar Ngwira who is also the Executive Director of Elangeni Community Based Organisation (ECBO), this is not a political organisation but here to ensure transparency and accountability when it comes to development projects in Malawi. He further continued by saying they also aim to ensure that youths work hand in hand and that opportunities like government resources are equally shared amongst all the youths in the country regardless of region of origins, tribe and educational for the benefit of all.
The Organisation also aims to promote youth clubs into youth Organisations so that they should be able to run bigger projects and benefit from it. The Organisation so far has a Regional Executive Committee and soon it will have a District Committee. Currently it has 31 active members with Mr. Albert Mkandawire as the Director.
