Ashiwaju Bola Ahamed Tinubu known as ‘jagaban’, of the (APC) All Progressive Party, has been elected as the President of Nigeria, in the just concluded election. With a total vote of 8,739,249 he used the slogan (’emi l’okan’), which means, “It’s My Turn” to be the next president.
As a Lagosian, he promises to turn Lagos into a mega city with new infrastructures and make the country a conducive place. The (LP) Labour Party, on the other hand, are not pleased with the correlation and result, but the INEC got the final say with APC as the winner.
This coming Saturday, Governorship and House of Representatives elections in the States are another important event, which is going to be another cracker between re-elect (APC). Led by Sanwo Olu the present Governor of Lagos State, and the (LP), led by Gbadebo Chinedu Rhodes-Vivour, also known as GRV, rallies are going on in the state and local government areas.
The police are doing their job to secure and protect lives and properties by making sure it is a conducive and fair election.
