Through the Television Screen

Youth Programmes

By empowering the youth to tell the stories of their communities we empower the voice of the generations.

First Nation’s Broadcasting

New opportunities before us has led to a strong emphasis to incorporate Aboriginal and First Nation philosophies within a modern framework resulting in inter-culture learning. Our significant partner G Cole Consulting engages holistic learning processes that combine social, cultural, spiritual, emotional, behavioural, political, economic and historical factors for First Nation people. G Cole Consulting brings to us at Community Television Broadcasting the emphasis on the construction of Aboriginal pride through ceremony, ritual and heritage.

Youth involved with CTB capitalize and harness social media platforms to gain CTB television station momentum to live stream on YouTube, Face Book, Twitter and in the near future Smart TV plus Android and Apple apps.

Our model is to engage the community as CTB storytellers. Trained CTB teams film, edit and broadcast their own news and current affairs, make documentaries, educational programmes, learn sports coverage and profile lifestyle programmes. Community Television Broadcasting will play community television as unique content for the streaming programme schedule.

Community media is the means of expression for the community

Now that the restrictions have largely lifted, we can produce more effectively to resume building community collaborations.
