The Nigeria election and politics today is about three political parties that have been wildly identified as:

  1. (APC) All Progressive Party led by Bola Ahmed Tinubu,
  2. (PDP) People Democratic Party led by Atiku Abubakar,
  3. (LP) Labour Party led by Peter Obi.

These above mentioned parties (PDP & APC) have been in dominance for years with candidates who have been in power for years and it’s time for change.  The youths home and abroad are tired of the same old leaders and same mentality which is why the (LP) Labour Party with candidate Peter Obi has got all the support from everyone. Nigerians both at home and abroad want to try something new and focus on the growth of the country and not just be beholden to ‘individual selfish interest’.

As it stands now, the results are still been accumulated and I wish for my great country a better tomorrow.

Despite the fact that Peter Obi is from the Eastern part of Nigeria, which made it look or sound like it is impossible to win the election, largely due to the self-interested mentality, of the, Northerners and Westerners, who have always been in power.  Thus, this is largely reflected on how the election has been conducted for several years, with what is believed to be the help of (INEC) Independent National Electoral Commission and claims of manipulating results.

This time, the youths have stood their ground, and will make sure, the change is now.

The youth are ready to stand up and fight for what we call the true democracy.
