As one way of trying to support the needy, one of the leading youth organisations in the Northern Region of Malawi, Youth Initiative for Civic Education and Accountability (YICEA), donated various items to a good number of people in some of its project areas in the Northern parts of Mzimba District Malawi.

The organisation through their donors, made this donation after receiving complaints from local traditional authorities and some Community Based Organisations (CBOs) that community members were lacking various life basic necessities and other such as food due persistent famine as a result of the on-going drought that has affected some parts of the country, according to the Country Director of the Organisation, Mr. Albert Chemba Mkandawire.
