PUTIN MEET XI JINPING TO FOSTER DIPLOMATIC RELATION
Russia President, Vladimir Putin meets Chinese President, Xi Jinping in Beijing for the first time since his re-election for the fifth Presidential term.
Both Presidents meet for the third time over a year. The meeting is to strengthen continuity in the relationship between China and Russia. Putin and Xi are expected to discuss matters involving trade, security and business members.
China have been accused of supplying Russia war components and was warned by Bliken that Washington will act if China does not stop its supply to Russia. But, China remains resolute in their support for Russia.
Previously, Russia have been slammed with hundreds of sanctions from the US and its allies following its inaction of Ukraine.

GALLANT CHALLENGE NETANYAHU OVER GAZA FUTURE
Israel Defence Minister, Yoav Gallant has been vocal due to frustration over government reluctance to make prompt decisions on a post-war plan for Gaza.
Gallant says “the defence establishment over which he presides, had presented a war plan to the cabinet as early as the night when Israel’s ground invasion of Gaza began, October 1st. Other members of the war cabinet also agreed with the defence minister.
Meanwhile, Netanyahu insisted that future governance of Gaza is “empty talk” if Hamas still remain in the area.

SLOVAKIA PM ROBERT FICO IN STABLE CONDITION AFTER ASSASSINATION ESCAPE
Slovakia Prime Minister Robert Fico is now in stable health condition after being shot several times in a politically motivated assassination.
BBC reported that the PM had a successful surgery and he is no more in a life-threatening condition after being rushed to the hospital.
There has been chaos in Slovakia following the government proposal to abolish Slovakia’s public broadcaster RTVS. This triggered protests in the country and the shooting came only the very day parliament began discussion on the matter.
Though, a suspect was arrested at the scene of the incident police are yet to confirm if he is linked with the crime.

BODIES SWEPT AWAY BY FLOODS FOUND IN THE STREETS OF AFGHANISTAN
Survivors of Afghanistan’s climate disaster lament the terrible state floods left with many finding bodies of their loved ones in the streets after days of searching.
Flash floods hit Afghanistan on Friday following an unusual drought that made the ground very dry. About 2000 homes have been destroyed and 300 Afghans reportedly dead.
Many have lost their livelihood and loved ones to this severe damage. It was sad moments for survivors finding the bodies of their relations lying lifeless in the streets after days of long searches.
A mother, Saheeda who lost her 25 year old daughter to this disaster said the approaching storm sounded like a monster and they were terrified.
It was a similar experience for victims who have tragically lost everything to this disaster.
The floods have left many with no shelter or little to depend on in Afghanistan

SOLDIERS MISTAKE COST ISRAEL FIVE TROOPS DURING BATTLE WITH HAMAS
The incident happened in Jabalia during battle with Hamas.
It was reported that the soldiers were mistakenly hit by Israeli tank fire on Friday. It was said that the battle in Jabalia is the deadliest they have faced since the start of the war. This is the reason for the complaint of IDF to the Israeli government on their post-war plan.
Investigation on the incident revealed the tank identified weaponry in a building and fired two shells towards it. Accidentally, 5 soldiers were killed in the process and 7 others got injured.
