On 4th and 5th November 2025 a youth led organisation called Section 30 MW facilitated two (2) thirty (30) minute radio programs at different community stations

Titled “Radio Panel Discussions on Accountability and Transparency” where its committee members based in Mzuzu City and Ekwendeni (Mzimba North) from the Northern Region Of Malawi had the privilege to share and discuss real corruption issues affecting their daily lives; more especially, in their respective local communities where they represent on the radio that transmits across the Northern part of Malawi respectively.
During the panel discussions a good number of areas were raised and tackled such as:
⦁ The Importance of Accountability and Transparency in Strengthening Trust and Good Governance within the Communities,
⦁ How Community Members can report and monitor corruption at the local level and
also ways in which Young People can get involved in:-
⦁ Promoting Integrity and Participating in Community oversight activities.

The project is being led by WYDE Civic Engagement and it is implemented by The Kofi Annan Foundation with Westminister Foundation for Democracy and The Olso Center powered by European Partnership for Democracy.
The radio programs were conducted at Unenesko FM and Hosanna FM.
Section 30 MW is an agile youth-based organisation dedicated to promoting fundamental rights to development.

The organisaton leverages collective knowledge and social awareness to address issues like:
inequalities, accountability and governance striving to build equitable and empowered communities. The organisation focuses on areas such as human rights, democracy and governance.
