GUARDIOLA STUNNED BY TEN HAG IN TACTICAL FA CUP FINAL BATTLE

Pep Guardiola admitted to have committed tactical blunder as United ran away with FA Cup trophy.

Eric ten Hag deployed a 4:4:2 formation with four midfielders to close the gaps and press City players very high. Kobbie Mainoo and Sofyan Amrabat were deployed to cut off supplies from Kevin De Bruyne and in form Foden to Haaland who could not make an impact in the game.

With Garnacho and Rashford in the attack, City became erratic and left so much space between the lines. Garnacho scored first and Mainoo added the second in 30th and 39th minutes respectively before Doku’s late goal reduced the score line.

The victory means Chelsea will have to back down to Conference League while Manchester United claim Europa cup ticket for next season. Will this be a farewell to the embattled ten Hag after facing so much pressure from the media and United fans? Only Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his co management members would decide that in the next few weeks.
