Community Forum Organisation (COFO) Provides Small Scale Business Skills

Community Forum Organisation (COFO) a leading youth – led organisation from Chinangwa Village in the Area of Traditional Authority (T/A) Katunga in Chikwawa District in the Southern Region Of Malawi, has introduced trainings aimed alleviating poverty, improving financial literacy, and also enabling people and communities to achieve better living standards and sustainable economic growth.

According to the Social Media and Communications Officer for the Organisation Mr. Precious Stambuli the training will be conducted for a three day period and are only meant for those who are doing Village Saving Loans (VSL).

A cross section of the participants

Community Forum Organisation (CoFO) is an Organisation which is passionate about raising the standard of the people living in rural areas by giving community members easy access to loans that will enable them to start small scale enterprises in the targeted project areas.

The Organisation is assisting all the Village Saving Loans (VSL) groups in Chikwawa District so that they should be well equipped with knowledge and information but also skills on how to help in developing the country through meaningful social economic means and boosting individual incomes.
