Today (22 April 2024) marks the 200th day in Israel-Gaza war.

The report from the war scenes look too distasteful to believe. Historically, Gaza-Israeli conflict was a usual encounter in the past and settlement always prevail to put the violence at rest. But, it takes a different turn last year with Gaza residents left in dire faith.

About six month ago, the incident of 1139 people killed and 240 people taken as captives struck Israel. Thorough investigation later confirmed Palestinian fighters, the Hamas, are responsible for the attack. The reason for their action still remain unknown. Israel decided to launch harsh military operation on October 7th 2023 on Hamas to avenge the TERROR.

Subsequently, nearly 85% of Gaza’s 2.3 million population have been displaced and more than 14000 children have been killed in the attack. What was expected to be a war contest has turned out to be one way traffic. 34183 people have been killed and 77084 have been wounded so far reported by Gaza Health Ministry. The disturbing report of 400 bodies reportedly discovered in a mass grave at Nasser hospital was horrific. This hit most hearts in the world and people are getting emotional and triggered to show concern.

International communities, national leaders, allies, nations have been making efforts in high capacity to stop the war. NYU, Columbia University among all aren’t left behind. Clash ensued between Pro Palestine and Pro- Israel protesters within Columbia University and New York University during a demonstration which led to the arrest of over 100 protesters. In regards to this, Columbia University have announced classes will be remote for the rest of the year. A fresh report reveals students in Australia began an encampment at Sydney University to show solidarity. More so, protest is ongoing in London to free Palestine from shelling. All these do not affect Israel as they insist on intensifying the Gaza operation as we read.
