IRAN-ISRAEL WAR: Israel pledges response to Iran’s attack!
Despite phone calls from world leaders, the Israel military chief pledges a response to the Iran attack. Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday, 15th April, 2024 summoned his war cabinet for the second time in less than 24 hours to discuss a response to Iran’s attack. He declined phone calls from foreign leaders and strengthens war preparation by wrapping up northern Israel war simulation drills, both on the ground and in cyberspace.
Israel is looking to target Iran as a message but not to cause conflict within the region. The world witnessed Iran were also careful on their target during attack on Israel because they announced they were going to avenge the attack on their embassy in Syria.
Iran hereby announced again they will respond with sporadic proportion immediately after Israel dares attack or threatens to use WEAPONS they’ve never used before. Hence, Iran brace for potential Israeli strikes amid fears for economic collapse if the conflict leads to a world war.
Meanwhile, Israel strikes Hezbollah site in Lebanon, villages and towns were targeted. Israel and Hezbollah have been exchanging fire since Hamas attacked Israel on daily basis. Digressively, Israel maintains restrictions on Gaza aid and Israeli forces arrested 25 Palestinians in West Bank yesterday. Bodies were been pulled out by rescuers after Israel bombs mosque in Gaza.
Truce discussion between Israel and Gaza suffered a setback as U.S accuses Hamas of being “obstacle” to the truce after rejecting Israelis proposal. Hamas feel they can only free 20 humanitarian hostages and also demanded for permanent end of war.
Sequel to this, Egyptian Foreign Minister, Sameh Shoukry is expected to discuss development in the Middle East and situation in Gaza with Turkish leader, Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a visit to Turkey this weekend. They are also expected to discuss a truce and hostage release deals with Hamas in Gaza.
French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor (former Angela Merkel) current Ola Schols and British Foreign Secretary, David Cameron made restraint appeals to prevent escalation .
